Concerts:  A Spiritual Experience

Fr. Doug Della Pietra invites you, your parish community or local area to host a concert of his music with engaging spiritual reflections.  At his concerts, Fr. Doug offers his thoughts and prayerful reflections before each song.  He shares some of the background of his music such as the inspiration behind each song, its melody its lyrics and the like.  Fr. Doug’s spiritual reflections bring meaning to many of our human and life experiences.  Whether during the Advent/Christmas season, Lent, Easter or the daily and ordinary times of the year, Fr. Doug’s concert of musical and spiritual reflections touch the human heart offering hope, peace and a way of knowing God’s abiding and never-ending tenderness, love and presence.

Concert Information:

Length:
A concert is typically 1 1/2 - 2 hours in length (which includes a 10-15 minute intermission.).

Contents:
The concert consists of both musical and spoken spiritual reflections.  Normally Fr. Doug chooses the spiritual theme for the concert.  However, if you would like a specific spiritual focus, this needs to be decided in consultation with Fr. Doug.  Finally, Fr. Doug selects which of his musical compositions to share based on the theme chosen.

Admission Charges:
If the host organization issues tickets for the concert for the purpose of limiting attendance and the like, the ticket must clearly indicate that the concert is FREE.  (Note: Unless the host organization offers a mutually agreed-upon donation with Fr. Doug for the concert, there will be a free-will offering taken up at some point during the concert.  It is Fr. Doug’s decision as to how the donated offering will be used.)
